Wolvix uses the XFCE file manager called "Thunar". This file manager is very similar to the GNOME file manager "Nautilus". In spite of being simple, it has quite a few customizable features and a few useful features by default.

Useful features:
1. File / folder gets selected as you type. For e.g. if want to open a folder called "wolvix", type w-o-l.. and your view will change and the folder will get selected as you type.
2. If there are some folders that you frequently visit, you can add them to the side pane. Right-click any folder that you want to add to side pane, select Send to | Side Pane (create shortcut).
