How to get a HUAWEI usb-modem to work in Wolvix

I've only tried this with a modem from Tre (tre.se) But it should work the same if you have a modem from Telia or even most other ISP.

1. Plug in the modem to a usb-port of your choice

2. Start Chestnut-dialer as root



3. Press AccountsConf and then NEW



4. Name your account (not necessary but it will look better)

5. Add *99# to the numbers (Also at the first tab)



6. Go to "Device" tab and press the Default button next to "Dial Device: /dev/modem"

7. The Dial Device list is now selectable, Select "/dev/ttyUSB0" from the list.

8. Press Done to return to the main window, highlight your account and press Dial, and that should be it (=
