Gksu
Gksu is rather unstable, to upgrade it to a more stable release follow these instructions:
1. Download the files:
gksu-2.0.0-i486-1wlv.tgz∞
libgksu-2.0.4-i486-1wlv.tgz∞
libgtop-2.14.4-i486-1wlv.tgz∞
2. Install libgtop-2.14.4-i486-1wlv.tgz package: (You need to be root)
installpkg libgtop-2.14.4-i486-1wlv.tgz
3. Upgrade gksu-2.0.0-i486-1wlv.tgz and libgksu-2.0.4-i486-1wlv.tgz : (You need to be root)
upgradepkg gksu-2.0.0-i486-1wlv.tgz
upgradepkg libgksu-2.0.4-i486-1wlv.tgz
Gaim
When trying to use Gaim on the MSN networks it will complain about missing encryption.
To fix this issue the command
ldconfig as root to update the /etc/ld.so.cache.
The ld.so.cache provided in Wolvix 1.0.5 is missing the entry for /usr/lib/firefox found in /etc/ld.so.conf
